Baked Potato trudged through the forest wounded physically and emotionally from what he just left behind after 7 years of conflict came to an end. He spent a few days living in the caves before reaching a mountain, he climbed to the middle point that had a flat area an watched the sunrise. A feeling told him to set up a home here and he did. He built his home and constructed a wall around the place, a large potato patch and some housing for raided villagers he saved. Soon the mountain area had become a town and the villagers convinced him to be their Mayor, a flag was made and the town was named Spudville! He made more friends with adventurers and people from across the world and Spudville became a prosperous nation. Baked a year after the war ended had found his sanctum.
Baked went adventuring one day and came across a old librarian and was told the legend of The Walker. The Walker was a being of absolute evil and chaos and committed many atrocities and destruction of many towns including Myradith which had only one survivor. With his minions consisting of wither skeletons, Illusioners, Pillagers and the Withering Heights Boss blood was left everywhere. He learnt The Walker wanted to get his hands on two items of absolute power, The Revival Boots and The Death Potato. Baked was shocked as he had these two items and made a promise to his father that he would protect them with his life. Hearing this story Baked secured them further.
Baked returned from his adventure and visited some friends, however they were looking slightly different they had purple and black spots on them including the eyes and they seemed to be acting slightly strange. One of them had discovered a music disc and was possessed by it claiming a voice was telling him to cover it all in purple and black. The group proclaimed this was The Cure and the whole world would be saved. Baked was disturbed by this and quickly returned home, but on his way back took a fall off a cliff after tripping on a purple bulge that appeared out of nowhere, in a last ditch attempt to save himself he equipped the Revival Boots as he hit the ground. The revival process began but a cure minion appeared from out from the trees and kicked the boots off him before fleeing. Baked was dead.....
Baked spirit awoke in limbo but this had a side affect, his body did resurrect however his body was being controlled by the spirit of his brother Mash Potato. Mash confused tried to put the boots back on to complete the process but nothing happened. It seemed the boots had lost their power, Mash now was in control of a half alive half dead body, not knowing what to do he visited the territory of The Cure where he met his former friends possessed like demons and they tricked Mash into taking The Cure. The process started normally however unaware to them the process failed due to his half ghost form. This freaked out The Cure members and possibly led to their downfall as soon after many members broke free from the trance and returned to normality.
Mash continued where his brother left off, securing the Death Potato but not the boots as he believed they no longer worked, he began construction of a new town down the mountain to Spudville named New Spudville. On Halloween night of that year Mash had lost his shoes for his outfit so decided to wear the Revival Boots, everything was normal until later in the night the boots began to glow and before you knew it Baked Potato was revived fully giving him control of his body again and sending poor Mash back to limbo. Baked was shaken by this experience and fearing The Walker still being out there conducted a plan creating fakes of the two items and securing the real ones safely to try and trick The Walker. Baked was sad for his brother and made a promise to him he would honour his positive outlook.
With the completion of New Spudville Baked began work on another town by the beach which he named Caytopia, it was here he met a young woman called Trudy West. The two bonded instantly and would later marry. The three towns would form together into the nation of Spudville with Baked being appointed the Prime Minister of the nation and Mayor of the original town, Trudy was made the Mayor of New Spudville and Baked's friend Tyler mayor of Caytopia. Within three year Spudville would become a thriving nation with many alliances made with other nations and groups across the world. Trudy would give birth to a son called Roast, Baked almost forgot the pain and suffering he had gone through in his early life, he had a purpose, was loved had a family and more.
One bright sunny day after dropping Roast off at nursery, Baked adventured north for a meeting with the Presidents of Scatland and Spudlund two nations part of the Triple Alliance. Trade agreements were made and Baked began to return home. It was when he came across the remains of an old gravestone with purple and black markings on it, at a closer inspection he saw it was the grave of The Walker! Baked couldn't believe it the being that he was protecting the items and people from was dead, but before he could celebrate he saw a red marking on the gravestone that read "If Mash can take you so can Boiled". This sent a shiver down Baked spine and he rushed home! Baked struggled to sleep for the next few nights and felt himself changing, he began to hear whispering voices and noticed his skin in parts going purple and black. This couldn't be the cure returning was it. Trudy noticed this and tried to help her husband but whatever it was was taking a hold of Baked as he began to spread purple and black around the place this drew the attention of Zennor the only cure member still under the influence and promised to help Baked cross over fully. Not willing to let her husband be taken Trudy took Baked back to grave site where he believed this influence began and he believed he was right when he purple and black of the grave was gone. He began to rid himself of the influence when Zennor appeared laughing manically.
"HA HA HA, oh Baked, you really didn't see this coming did you, The Cure... was The Walkers making all along, you see you may have prevented him from getting the boots and death potato but he had other ways to get to you and this was the plan, tear your world apart!" proclaimed Zennor.
"What do you mean?" said Baked.
"The Walker was a normal person but got possessed by a spirit, a spirit of a man that hates you with a passion, but the body couldn't last that long so I carried out the plan, with The Cure, sure a few roadblocks with your little trick of revival but I knew you seeing this grave would be your weakness and now I have you where he wants you, he is almost here!" screamed Zennor.
"WHO??!!" - yelled Baked.
"Your flesh and blood, your brother Boiled!" answered Zennor.
Suddenly the ground around the grave began to shake violently with a red light drowning the location. Baked knowing the danger ahead told Trudy to take Roast and flee, not to come back for him save themselves.
"I'm not leaving you!!" cried Trudy.
"If you don't go Roast will grow up with no parents, do you want that?!!" yelled Baked.
The two emotionally bid farewell as Trudy ran off leaving Baked face to face with what was coming! The ground exploded and the spirit of Boiled was there for all to see.
"Freedom at last!" boomed Boiled.
Boiled turned to Baked and bolted for him colliding into him and taking control of his body!
"Finally the age of anarchy can begin!" proclaimed Boiled.
Boiled and Zennor began to reek chaos across the world and began their hostile takeover of Spudville, incarcerating the people and forcing them into battle against the other nations. Blood all over the land Boiled had left destruction in his path, with only a small group of survivors left. The battle that ensued destroyed Spudville to a crater in the ground,
Zennor was killed but Boiled was still standing!
"This is my world! No one can stop me!!"
Out of nowhere Boiled turned to a sword to the heart from a frail old piglin that was very familiar to him. The blade chilled the body to the bone and Boiled spirit was forced out of the body and disintegrated not before screaming "Your own son.. daaaahhhhhhh!".
The survivors looked on at this old man to see it was Jacket Potato, Baked and Boiled's father who was believed to be dead at the conclusion of the Great Nether War. He kneeled by his sons side finally back in control of his body but slowly dying from the wounds. The two emotional hugged each other and Jacket explained to him he was trapped in the nether caves for years after the explosion and spent years trying to escape and Baked kept him going in hopes to see him again. Baked told him about his grandson and wife and Jacket promised to visit them. As the sun set on the land Baked passed away peacefully in his fathers arms an was buried on top of the hill.
Jacket ventured to the town where Trudy and Roast had escaped too. They had an emotional meeting and conversation with Trudy knowing what had happened but quickly introduced Jacket to his grandson and he told him the tales of his father and ensured Roast would grow up in his fathers footsteps. Jacket would pass away too a few months later but was happy that he got to meet his sons wife and son and give them the closure they needed. Trudy never did remarry but ensured Roast had the best growing up ever and painted him a picture of his father that was framed on the wall for him to see every morning and encourage him to be the best Potato he can be!
